Today I went again to remember
The many times we had spent together
To sing and recollect in prayer
All the things we were able to share.
But recalling the past just brought me sorrow
So, I think I shall now concentrate on tomorrow
Move forward as I’ve been told to do
Although never forgetting my time with you.
So, I’m going to put a fresh smile on my face
For I know that you’re in a much better place.
I’ll try to live life fully once more on my own
Till the day we meet gain when God calls me home.
