We all have a rearview mirror
Through which we can reflect on the past
Yet we need to keep looking forward
Keep driving with care; not too fast
For if we do we may miss out on the present
And our time will not be well spent
So let’s approach each day as our last
Then when present becomes the future
We’ll be content to remember the past.
