Stones are neither good nor bad
It all depends on use
They can be made into a house
Or thrown in abuse.
Stones can cause people to trip
Hinder plants from growing
They certainly need to be removed
From the ground before there is sowing.
Picked up one by one from a field
They can become dry stone walling
Each one fitted to the next
In such a way that stops them from falling.
People are really like these stones
Except that they are living
And each one needs to support the next
By accepting and generously giving.
The first and foremost Living Stone
Is Jesus Christ, God’s Son
He is the true foundation
The most important Cornerstone.
Ecclesiastes 3:5
