In life I have a race to run
So must strip off what’s slowing me down.
I only get one chance at this race
Must avoid stumbling and losing my place.
In order to make every step count
I must focus not look round about.
If I have burdens that weigh me down
I’ll never reach the finishing line.
So I’ll ditch the baggage that holds me back
With endurance keep running down the track.
Until I reach the finishing line
To find I’ve clocked a perfect time.
