I live in a book entitled ‘Present’
It has pages still to be read
The bookends are ‘Past’ and ‘Future’
Containing what’s gone; what lies ahead.
The wording on the ‘now’ pages
Are affected by what’s gone before
But the pages following on from now
Depend on how I pass through each door.
Often I have a choice of doors
I can decide which one to pass through
And my decisions can change the outcome
So I need divine guidance in all I do.
