Time is a very precious thing
Only twenty-four hours each day
And there always seems so much to do
That I often say I can’t stay
But God has been teaching me lately
That we are only made of clay
And sometimes eternity can be
Just a very few seconds away.
So I’ll take time to love the people
God has placed along my way
Listen very carefully
To what they have to say
Then when I’m far away from them
I’ll know just how to pray
And the love of God will flow to them
And bless them everyday.
