Time Sand

Categories: Life, Time

Driving clouds move across the sky
Forcibly reminding me why
I must make every moment count
For unless I do my life will amount
To nothing.

For time will quickly pass me by
Just like those rain clouds in the sky
Opportunities will be no more
For death will swiftly close the door
On my life.

So I’ll lower my eyes back to the ground
Search out the needs that are all around
Then venture out to do what I can
Love, encourage, help someone to stand
To walk again.

Then when my time-sand is running low
I’ll have no regrets, will surely know
That my time here on earth was of some use
Because of the path I decided to choose
To follow.
