When everything in me is falling apart
I am anxious, hard-pressed, sick at heart
It is then I must quickly turn to the Bible
To get God’s perspective which will keep me stable.
When I’m struck down and crushed, I will not despair
But turn to God’s Word; I will find help there
Confidently be able to combat any trial
For God’s all-surpassing power will prevail.
The truth in God’s Word always brings renewed hope
In the midst of my trials helps me to cope
It’s a source of comfort and strength everyday
As I quietly read, all my stress melts away.
