Beyond understanding
Is God’s amazing love
Leaving for me
His home above.
He came to this earth
Had a lowly birth
Then with a carpenter’s hand
Worked as a man
Lived day by day
Followed the plan.
Obedient completely
He came to fulfil
Every part of the Father’s will
Then hung on a cross
Died in my place
Wonderful love
Ineffable grace.
