Schedules

Categories: God, Time

I am not an important fixed point
Around whom all things rotate
Setting times for myself; often arriving late.

God’s timetable is very different from mine
It involves so much more than me
I need to trust God’s clock; have faith; wait patiently.

Eternal God created time
So He’s behind and ahead of me
He has set his pacemaker in my heart; knows my destiny.

God’s timing, to me, may sometimes seem strange
But it is always the very best
So with confidence I’ll put my time in His hands, then quietly rest.
