A sinner is turned into a saint
By the intervention of a Saviour
A sinless Saviour who’s sacrificed for me
Is buried but then rises in victory.
All my sin gets buried with Him, and then
Miraculously I’m raised too, I’m born again.
Indwelt by His Spirit, conformed to His likeness
I am totally clothed in His righteousness.
I then become holy, set apart
Intents and attitudes changed
I make a fresh start.
A permanent position in Christ is mine
Grace and peace with God, the Father Divine.
