Perfect peace in the storms of life
Is God’s peace that keeps hearts and minds
In the midst of conflict and strife.
It’s a peace beyond understanding
Surpassing all human ideas
It’s an inward peace where Christ rules the heart
When all outside is causing fears.
When dark clouds are hovering over
And lightning’s dividing the sky
Tumultuous seas are crashing the rocks
When you think you’re going to die.
It is then peace of God gives stability
When raging waves are all that are heard
Not a natural peace of human capability
But supernatural derived from the Lord.
