They were all too busy to notice
What a wonderful event had occurred
Too otherwise totally occupied
To have their minds and hearts stirred.
Just too busy to realise
That Almighty God had come
In the form of a human being
That a new day had begun.
So many missed the arrival of God
For they were looking in the wrong place
Today’s it’s the same we’re too busy to see
That He’s even now among us by grace.
We need to time take to be to be quiet
Search for God through His Word
Then bring our gifts like the wisemen
Come and worship Christ Jesus the Lord.
