In the secret place is where I can
Openly speak and share with the Lord
It is there I align my will with His
And it’s there I receive my reward.
In this trysting place hidden away
Where only my Father can see
I get to I understand His heart
As He shares His thoughts with me.
So I’m able, in love, to intercede for those
Who God requests me to pray for
Then in ways I really do not understand
He’ll speak to them and open their heart’s door.
As I look through the lens of God’s telescope
I have no worries or fears for I see
That He has the whole world in His hands
Loves each person individually.
