There’s a deep well of tears
Way down in my heart
That, as it fills up
Rips my chest apart
I never quite know
When this overflow
Will start pouring down my cheeks
But this overflow eases the pain
It’s a bit like feeling the sun after rain
Then a little trigger
Causes pain once more
And down my face the hot tears pour
I suppose one day tears will go away
Yet deep in the well some tears will stay
Until one day in heaven above
I’m reunited with the one I love.
