Where are you?
Are you just dust
Sprinkled round
The plum tree, cherry tree
Round six silver birches?
A fading memory
Now hazy recollection
Of who we once knew
Could touch, see, hear?
Where are you?
If only you could tell.
Yet although we no longer see you
We do feel your presence here
And are able to hear you speak
Listening with our love inner ear.
