I’ve never thought much about kidneys
Body parts that are hidden away
Till today when they just stopped working
Throwing all into disarray.
This caused me to think of Christ’s body
With unseen members, so valuable
To the perfect functioning of the church
They are indispensable.
So if you think you’re not needed
In the body of Christ, a small part
Be encouraged and keep on working
You’re as important as a heart.
