We’re on the shore
Waiting for you
But you don’t appear
What shall we do?
Continue to wait
Or get into the boat?
It’s getting dark
And this place is remote.
We decide to cross
To the other side
We know this lake
We don’t need a guide.
Suddenly a storm arises
Lake Galilee is full of surprises.
As our little boat gets tossed about
We get very scared; start to shout
Then as our fear was at it’s height
Walking on the water, out of the night
Jesus appeared “Don’t be afraid”
“I’m here” is what he gently said
Immediately our boat reached the land
We are safe!
Our Saviour Jesus is on hand.
John 6:16-21
