I so enjoy sitting on the beach
For it helps me consider and understand
Incomprehensible things beyond my reach.
Watching great ships just disappear
As they cross the far horizon line
Quickly out of sight that earlier was so near.
Contemplating the huge expanse of the ocean
How God got the moon to control the tides
I acknowledge His greatness; bow down in devotion.
Although so much I shall never know
In absolute faith I lean on God
Fully trusting my Father Creator is in control.
God holds vast oceans in the hollow of His hand
Something totally beyond my imagination
But unconditionally I accept what I can’t understand.
