Only minutes in the Lord’s presence
Gives me complete calmness of soul
A profound feeling of wonderful peace
That fills me and makes me whole.
With his ‘shalom’ residing within me
I can venture into the new day
Then as I come into contact with others
I’ll bring comfort and know what to say.
The peace of God beyond comprehension
Will flow out to everyone
And we’ll all be brought much nearer
In likeness to Jesus, God’s Son.
