I crept through the crowd
In trembling and fear
I just knew for certain
I had to get near.
For many, many years
I had tried every cure
But I never improved
I was still impure.
There were so many people
All thronging around
But I kept pushing forward
Staying close to the ground.
I reach out and touched
His garment’s hem
Was instantly healed
Turned to go but then
“Who touched my clothes?”
I heard the Master say
I was scared but owned up
Knelt at His feet that day
And I was glad I did
For I heard Him say
“Daughter, your faith has made you well
Go in peace, you have been healed.”
