If ever I’m worried or anxious
I know I need never fear
For I have the promise of the Lord
“I’m with you. Just call. I will hear.
When you’re walking through deep water
I will be there walking with you
Even in the fire of oppression
I will be there to see you through.
My eye is always upon you
So, keep looking at me too
I will support and encourage
I will your strength renew.
If you’re in trouble I will hide you
Keep you safe from the enemy
Set your feet firmly on the rock
Far above the boisterous sea.
When it is dark, I’ll still be there
Protecting you through the night
Bringing you safely through
To a morning of joy and light.”
What can I say to these promises
