You are quietly resting after times of testing
But the day has now come to unfurl folded sails.
People are floundering, looking round wandering
If there’s anyone there to help them.
Very soon now we need to set sail
Have faith in me – the course is charted
And even in rough weather you won’t get downhearted
When I am at the helm nothing can overwhelm us.
Together we can rescue those in strife
Those who have lost their way in life
Bring them safely back into the port
Where they can very gently be taught about Me.
There are other boats too that will sail with you
So don’t be afraid – launch out and know
I will be with you wherever you go
As people are found God’s kingdom will extend
Bringing praise and glory to God without end
