Having experienced Your Presence with me
When I climbed the path that was steep
When, thrilled and exhilarated, I stood
Eventually on the high peak.
From there I saw, as you had promised,
The wondrous glory of God in the sky
Now that climb has taught me to trust you
Stop questioning how, when and why.
So now I’m aware when the path is smooth
That You still are walking with me
And I can share all my thought as we walk
Understand how God meant things to be.
